Sablefish (colloquially known as black cod) is line-caught and handled with the utmost of care. Caught in the deep water of the North Pacific in Southeast Alaska, our Alaskan sablefish is from a sustainably managed fishery. With an incredibly rich and smooth texture, some people even call sablefish "butterfish" for its buttery flavor. No matter what you call it, our wild sablefish is rich and velvety, making for a delicious meal loaded with heart-healthy Omega-3s and vitamin D.

Each 100g serving of sablefish contains 1787mg of Omega-3s, which is higher than any other whitefish. Being packed with heart-healthy fatty oils makes sablefish nearly impossible to overcook because it won't dry out like other fish.

Our individually wrapped and vacuum-sealed portions are skin-on, boneless, and will vary between 6 and 8 ounces.

Typically there will about 13 to 15 individually vacuum-sealed portions in a 5-pound box. But, as they are wild fish cut by hand, there is some variance in number of portions in a box depending on portion size.
